Purpose

Analyze order bookings.

Overview

Use Bookings Summary Management to view different levels of bookings history for shipping locations, sales locations, and order classes. You can drill down into the history by product or customer, and then drill down again by both product and customer.

You can filter by order class, sales location, shipping location, customer, product, bookings group, and bookings class. You can also select the bookings data you want to display and the period of time for which you want to display data.

Click this button to close the Bookings Summary Management window.

Show Data

Click this button to display bookings information on the View tab based on the selected criteria.

Selection Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

All Order Classes

Select this check box to display bookings for all order classes. This check box is selected by default.

Order Class

Enter an order class for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select an order class. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Order Classes check box.

All Sales Locations

Select this check box to display bookings for all sales locations. This check box is selected by default.

Prefix (Sales Location)

Enter a sales location prefix for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a sales location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sales Locations check box.

Name (Sales Location)

Enter a sales location name for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a sales location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sales Locations check box.

All Shipping Locations

Select this check box to display bookings for all shipping locations. This check box is selected by default.

Prefix (Shipping Location)

Enter a shipping location prefix for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Shipping Locations check box.

Name (Shipping Location)

Enter a shipping location name for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Shipping Locations check box.

All History Customers

Select this check box to display bookings for all history customers. This check box is selected by default.

From (History Customer)

Enter the first customer code in a range of customers for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All History Customers check box.

Name (From History Customer)

Enter the first customer name in a range of customers for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All History Customers check box.

To (History Customer)

Enter the last customer code in a range of customers for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All History Customers check box.

Name (To History Customer)

Enter the last customer name in a range of customers for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All History Customers check box.

All Products

Select this check box to display bookings for all products. This check box is selected by default.

From (Product)

Enter the first product code in a range of products for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products radio button.

Name (From Product)

Enter the first product name in a range of products for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products radio button.

To (Product)

Enter the last product code in a range of products for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products radio button.

Name (To Product)

Enter the last product name in a range of products for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a product name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products radio button.

All Bookings Groups

Select this check box to display bookings for all bookings groups. This check box is selected by default.

Group

Enter a bookings group for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a bookings group. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Bookings Groups check box. For information on setting up bookings groups, see Bookings Group Maintenance.

All Bookings Classes

Select this check box to display bookings for all bookings classes. This check box is selected by default.

Class

Enter a bookings class for which to display bookings, or click the Lookup button to select a bookings class. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Bookings Classes check box. For information on setting up bookings classes, see Bookings Class Maintenance.

Date Type

Select whether to use the created, ordered, or required date for displaying bookings.

Time Bucket

Select whether to display bookings for months, weeks, or days.

Start Date

Enter the first day for which to display bookings, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.

Time Range

Enter the number of months, weeks, or days for which to display bookings information. The selection in the Time Bucket field controls whether this is a number of months, weeks, or days.

Gross Bookings Amount

Select this check box to display a row for gross bookings amounts. This check box is selected by default.

Customer Change Amount

Select this check box to display a row for customer change amounts. This check box is selected by default.

Internal Change Amount

Select this check box to display a row for internal change amounts. This check box is selected by default.

Net Bookings Amount

Select this check box to display a row for net bookings amounts. This check box is selected by default.

Gross Bookings Units

Select this check box to display a row for gross bookings units. This check box is selected by default.

Customer Change Units

Select this check box to display a row for customer change units. This check box is selected by default.

Internal Change Units

Select this check box to display a row for internal change units. This check box is selected by default.

Net Bookings Units

Select this check box to display a row for net bookings units. This check box is selected by default.

Order Count

Select this check box to display a row for the number of orders. This check box is selected by default.

Order Line Count

Select this check box to display a row for the number of line items. This check box is selected by default.

Drill Down

Select whether to display product or customer information when you double-click the Bookings grid on the View tab. After you drill down, this field is disabled.

Bookings

This grid displays bookings information based on the criteria selected on the Selection tab. Double-click the first row of data to drill down by product or customer. You can then drill down a second time to view data for a specific product and a specific customer.
