To use Component Availability Inquiry, perform one of the following:

Select a component in Material Issue, and click the Component Availability Inquiry button in the ribbon.
Double-click a component in Material Issue.
Double-click a component in Component Inventory Inquiry.

Purpose

View inventory for a component.

Overview

Use Component Availability Inquiry to display inventory for a component required for a work order. You can view the inventory in the primary work order bin and all other bins that contain the product.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Component Availability Inquiry window.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Product	These fields display the product code and name of the product for which you are viewing inventory levels.
Qty Available	These fields display the total quantity available for the product and the unit of measure for the available quantity.
Qty Can Build	This field displays the quantity of the product that can be used to build finished goods.
Primary Work Order Bin	This grid displays product inventory information for the primary work order bin. Double-click the information to display Inventory Matrix Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed information for the product and bin.
Other Bins	This grid displays product inventory information for other bins that contain the product. Double-click information for a bin to display Inventory Matrix Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed information for the product and bin.
