Container PO Selection

To use Container PO Selection, click the Add Purchase Orders button in the ribbon in Container Management.

Note This button is only available after you click the New or Update button in the ribbon.

Purpose

Add or remove purchase orders from a container.

Overview

Use Container PO Selection to specify the purchase orders that have products in a specific container, which you selected in Container Management.

You can specify the ship-to location and supplier to filter the available purchase orders listed in the Available PO's grid.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Container PO Selection window.
Show Data	Click this button to display data in the Available PO's grid based on the selected criteria.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Ship To Location	Enter a ship-to location prefix to include purchase orders for the location in the Available PO's grid, or click the Lookup button to select a location prefix.
Name (Location)	Enter a ship-to location name to include purchase orders for the location in the Available PO's grid, or click the Lookup button to select a location name.
All	Select this check box to display purchase orders from all suppliers in the Available PO's grid. This check box is selected by default.
Supplier	Enter a supplier code to include purchase orders for the supplier in the Available PO's grid, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Name (Supplier)	Enter a supplier name to include purchase orders for the supplier in the Available PO's grid, or click the Lookup button to select a supplier name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.
Available PO's	This grid displays all purchase orders from which you can add products to a container.
	Click this button to add all purchase orders in the Available PO's grid to the Selected PO's grid.
	Click this button to add a purchase order selected in the Available PO's grid to the Selected PO's grid.
	Click this button to remove a purchase order from the Selected PO's grid.
	Click this button to remove all purchase orders from the Selected PO's grid.
Selected PO's	This grid displays purchase orders selected for the container.
Position to Purchase Order	Enter a purchase order number, and then press the Tab key to select that purchase order in the Available PO's grid.
View PO	Click this button to display Purchase Order Maintenance, which allows you to view and update information for the purchase order selected in the Available PO's grid. Note If you are not authorized to use Purchase Order Maintenance, the Purchase Order Inquiry window appears instead, and allows you to view information for the purchase order.
