Create Transfer Orders

To use Create Transfer Orders, click the Create Transfer Orders button in the ribbon in Summary DRP Management.

Note The Create Transfer Orders button is only available if the Transferred Items radio button is selected on the Selection tab and the Planned Receipts or Totals tab is displayed in Summary DRP Management.

Purpose

Create transfer orders for products with actual planned receipts.

Overview

Use Create Transfer Orders to automatically create transfer orders for a range of dates, and a specific transfer sales order class and number of transfer lead days.

Click this button to close the Create Transfer Orders window.

Create

Click this button to create transfer orders for the selected criteria.

Order Entry

Click this button to display Order Entry, which allows you to view and edit a selected transfer order. This button is only available if the Results tab is displayed.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Transfer Sales Order Class

Enter a transfer sales order class for created transfer orders, or click the Lookup button to select a transfer sales order class.

Date Range from

Enter the first date in the range of dates for which to create transfer orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.

To

Enter the last date in the range of dates for which to create transfer orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date.

Separate by Expected Date

Select this check box to create a separate transfer order for each actual planned receipt date. This check box is selected by default. If you clear this check box, only one transfer order is created, and transfer order lines are created for each actual planned receipt date.

Transfer Lead Days

Enter the expected number of days it will take to transfer products from one location to another.

Sales Location

Enter the location prefix of the sales location for created transfer orders. For information on locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

Name

Enter the name of the sales location for created transfer orders. For information on locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

Transfer Orders

This grid displays information for transfer orders that were created after you clicked the Create button in the ribbon, including the transfer-to location prefix and required date. Double-click a transfer order to display Order Entry, which allows you to view and edit the transfer order.
