Purpose

Enter, view, edit, or delete customer allowance type groups.

Overview

Use Customer Allowance Type Group Maintenance to assign customer allowance types to customer allowance type groups.

Example You can assign all advertising allowance types to an Advertising customer allowance type group.

You can assign a customer allowance type to only one customer allowance type group.

In Royalty Rate Maintenance and Commission Rate Maintenance, you can specify the customer allowance type groups that affect royalty and commission amounts.

Creating Customer Allowance Type Groups

To create a customer allowance type group:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a code for the customer allowance type group in the Allowance Type Group Code field.
Enter a name for the customer allowance type group in the Allowance Type Group Name field.
Specify the customer allowance types to include in the customer allowance type group.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The customer allowance type group is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Customer Allowance Type Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new customer allowance type group.
Update	Click this button to update the selected customer allowance type group.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected customer allowance type group.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first customer allowance type group.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous customer allowance type group.
Next	Click this button to display the next customer allowance type group.
Last	Click this button to display the last customer allowance type group.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Allowance Type Group Code	Enter the customer allowance type group code, or click the Lookup button to select a customer allowance type group code.
Allowance Type Group Name	Enter a name for the customer allowance type group.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Available Allowance Types	This grid displays customer allowance types that are not in the selected customer allowance type group.
	Click this button to add the selected customer allowance type in the Available Allowance Types grid to the Selected Allowance Types grid.
	Click this button to add all customer allowance types in the Available Allowance Types grid to the Selected Allowance Types grid.
	Click this button to remove the selected customer allowance type from the Selected Allowance Types grid.
	Click this button to remove all customer allowance types from the Selected Allowance Types grid.
Selected Allowance Types	This grid displays customer allowance types in the selected customer allowance type group.
