Purpose

Set up and maintain customer incentive groups.

Overview

Use Customer Incentive Group Maintenance to view, create, edit, and delete customer incentive groups, which are groups of customers used for incentive goals. You can include a customer in multiple customer incentive groups.

Creating Customer Incentive Groups

To create a customer incentive group:

  1. Click the New button in the ribbon.

  2. Enter a name for the customer incentive group in the Customer Incentive Group field.

  3. Enter a description of the customer incentive group in the Description field.

  4. If you do not want the customer incentive group to appear in Lookup windows, clear the Display in Lookups check box.

  5. Enter a customer code or name to include in the customer incentive group in the Customer Code or Customer Name field.

  6. Click the Add button.

  7. Repeat steps 5-6 for all customers you want to add to the customer incentive group.

  8. Click the OK button in the ribbon. The customer incentive group is created.

Button

Exit

Click this button to close the Customer Incentive Group Maintenance window.

New

Click this button to create a new customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Update

Click this button to update the selected customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

OK

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.

Import Customers

Click this button to display Customer Incentive Group Import, which allows you to import customers from an external file into a customer incentive group you are creating or editing. This button is only available after you click the New or Update button in the ribbon.

Show Data

Click this button to display customer incentive groups on the Inquiry tab. This button is only available if the Inquiry tab is displayed.

First

Click this button to display the first customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Prev

Click this button to display the previous customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Next

Click this button to display the next customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Last

Click this button to display the last customer incentive group. This button is only available if the General tab is displayed.

Customer Incentive Group

Enter a unique customer incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select an existing customer incentive group.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Description

Enter a description of the customer incentive group.

Display in Lookups

Select this check box to allow the customer incentive group to display in Lookup windows. This check box is selected by default.

Customer Code

Enter a customer code you want to add to the customer incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code.

Add

Click this button to add the customer associated with the entered customer code or name to the customer incentive group.

Customer Name

Enter a customer name you want to add to the customer incentive group, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name.

Remove

Click this button to remove the selected customer in the Customers grid from the customer incentive group.

Remove All

Click this button to remove all customers in the Customers grid from the customer incentive group.

Customers

This grid displays customers included in the customer incentive group.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Note This tab is disabled if you are creating, editing, or deleting a customer incentive group.

This grid displays customer incentive groups after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Double-click a customer incentive group to select it and display information for it on the General tab.
