Purpose

Overview

Use Cycle Count Task Management to display information for automated Wireless Warehouse cycle count schedules, and to start the next round of tasks for schedules that are not set up to automatically start.

Viewing Automated Cycle Count Schedule Information

To view information for an automated cycle count schedule:

  1. Enter a shipping location prefix or name for which to view cycle count schedules in the Shipping Location or Name field.

  2. Enter a schedule code for which you want to view information in the Schedule Code field. The Current Round tab displays information for the current round of counting.

  3. To view historical data for the selected count schedule, click the History tab.

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Cycle Count Task Management window.

Start New Round

Click this button to start a new round for the selected cycle count schedule. This button is only available if the schedule is not set up to automatically start rounds and the current round is completed.

Cycle Count Schedule Inquiry

Click this button to display Automated Wireless Cycle Count Scheduling, which allows you to view settings for a selected cycle count schedule.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Shipping Location

Enter a shipping location prefix in which to perform cycle counting, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix.

Name

Enter a shipping location name in which to perform cycle counting, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name.

Schedule Code

Enter a code for the cycle count schedule. This must be unique for the specified location.

Current Round Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Current Round

This field displays the round number for the current round of the selected schedule.

Completed

This check box is selected if the current round of the selected schedule is completed.

Start Date

This field displays the date on which the current round of the selected schedule started.

Goal End Date

This field displays the date on which the current round of the selected schedule will end, based on the count frequency set up for the schedule.

Total Products

This field displays the number of products included in the selected schedule.

Products Counted

This field displays the number of products already counted for the current round of the selected schedule.

Open Tasks

This field displays the number of open cycle count tasks for the current round of the selected schedule.

Goal as of Today

This field displays the number of daily tasks for the selected schedule multiplied by the number of days that have passed since the current round of the selected schedule started.

Products Remaining to Count

This field displays the number of products that must still be counted for the current round of the selected schedule.

Current Day

This field displays the number of days that have passed since the current round of the selected schedule started.

Counts Per Day to Meet Goal

This field displays the number of cycle count tasks to complete per day to complete all tasks for the current round of the selected schedule by the date entered in the Goal End Date field.

Average Per Day

This field displays the average number of product counted per day for the current round of the selected schedule.

History Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Count Rounds

This grid displays information for each round of cycle counting for the selected schedule. You can enter additional information for each round in the Status Note column.

Average Number of Products

This field displays the average number of products counted for each round of the selected schedule.

Average Number of Days

This field displays the average number of days for each round of the selected schedule.

Average Products Per Day

This field displays the average number of products counted for each day of the selected schedule.
