Purpose

Set up and maintain DRP product classes.

Overview

Use DRP Product Class Maintenance to create, update, and delete DRP product classes, which you can use to group products for buying management. You can assign a product/location to a DRP product class in Product Location Maintenance.

Creating DRP Product Classes

To create a DRP product class:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a code for the DRP product class in the DRP Product Class Code field.
Enter a name for the DRP product class in the DRP Product Class Name field.
Enter a description of the DRP product class in the Description field.
To make the DRP product class available for selection in Lookup windows, select the Active check box.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The DRP product class is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the DRP Product Class Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new DRP product class.
Update	Click this button to edit the selected DRP product class.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected DRP product class.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first DRP product class.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous DRP product class.
Next	Click this button to display the next DRP product class.
Last	Click this button to display the last DRP product class.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
DRP Product Class Code	Enter a DRP product class code, or click the Lookup button to select an existing DRP product class code.
DRP Product Class Name	Enter a DRP product class name, or click the Lookup button to select an existing DRP product class name.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Description	Enter a short description for the DRP product class.
Active	Select this check box if the DRP product class is active. If this check box is cleared, the DRP product class will not appear in Lookup windows.
