If the Express Order Entry check box is selected in User Extended Options, only minimal line item processing is required in Order Entry. This allows you to quickly enter products on an order using the product default values.
If you use the Express Order Entry feature, the Enter button in O/E Line Item Entry is not used to accept an item to be ordered and place it in the line items grid. Instead, the item is entered into the grid immediately after you enter a quantity for the product and press the Tab key, press the Enter key, or click a field.
Any adjustments such as quantity, unit of measure, price, and price adjustments are performed after the item has been accepted. To make adjustments, select a line item in the grid and scroll to the column you want to change. Changeable columns generally display in a color that is different from non-changeable columns.
