Pending receipts are receipts that are created, but not removed from the receiving dock. The cost of goods for a pending receipt can be subject to change after the pending receipt is finalized and all received quantities are known.
After a pending receipt is created, you can perform the following warehouse tasks for the pending receipt:
Put away inventory in pick or bulk stock bins.
Build pallets (license plates) for easier putaway processing.
Perform quality control checking, and remove defective products from inventory.
