The process option indicates how you want to process a report, or other output document. The available options are:
Run Now - Process the report from your computer. If this option is selected, you must wait until the process is completed before continuing with other operations in the software.
Schedule - Process using Scheduling Assistant. This option allows you to access other windows without waiting for the task to finish processing on your computer. The task is either printed from the default printer of Scheduling Assistant, or is rerouted back to your default printer if the Re-route External Reports Back to User check box is selected in System ID Maintenance. You can set up an alert to indicate when the task is completed.
