User bins are virtual bins used to track the real-time location of products. User bins should be created for each user ID to track products as the products are carried by a person in a warehouse. To create a user bin, create a bin in Bin Maintenance, and select the User Bin check box. You can then assign the user bin to a user ID in the Bin Name field in the User Inventory Bin section on the Warehouse tab in User Extended Options. To distinguish user bins from physical bins in the warehouse, prefix user bin names with u - (e.g., u - user1, u - user 2, etc.).
