A virtual date in Apprise is a date that is used for a dashboard, recording, or report output via Scheduling Assistant to represent a changing date needed to display or process data.
EXAMPLE If you create a recording for a report, and you want to display today's data every time you run the recording, you can select the virtual date of Today for the recording.
To specify a virtual date, right-click the field, select Enter Virtual Date, select either Calendar Year Dates or Fiscal Year Dates, and then select the virtual date. If the virtual date includes a variable value (X), you are prompted to enter the value after you select the virtual date.
