Menu Path: Purchasing Distribution Resource Planning Setup Buying Method Excess Alert Method Maintenance
Enter, view, edit, or delete excess alert methods.
Use Excess Alert Method Maintenance to set up calculations to determine excess alert requirements. Excess alerts are used to inform you of a projected excess on hand inventory, so you can prevent such situations. Excess alert methods are used to construct buying methods in Buying Method Maintenance.
You can build standard and custom excess alert methods based on different excess alert parameters and excess alert logic.
