Maintain external orders.
Use External Supply and Demand to create, update, and delete orders that are tracked outside of Apprise. These order amounts can affect product supply and demand, and can be used to calculate promise dates for sales orders.

Enter an existing external order code, or click the Lookup button to select an external order code. Note The external order code is automatically generated when you create a new external order, and cannot be manually updated. |

Enter a unit of measure for the external order, or click the Lookup button to select a unit of measure. |

Enter an action date for the external order, or click the drop-down arrow to select an action date. This date is used for promise date calculations. |

Enter a quantity of the product for the external order in the unit of measure entered in the Unit of Measure field. You can enter a positive number to indicate an incoming supply of product or a negative number to indicate a product demand. |

Click this button to display Unit of Measure Calculator, which allows you to calculate equivalent quantities of two different units of measure. |

Enter a related customer or supplier for the external order, or click the Lookup button to select a related customer or supplier. For a negative quantity, enter a related customer. For a positive quantity, enter a related supplier. |

Enter the status of the external order. |
