Answer: Journal Entry Void can only be used if you want to void a journal entry that remains unposted. If the posted journal entry was not marked as reversible when it was entered, use Ad Hoc Reversing Journal Entry. If the original journal entry was marked as reversible when it was entered, use Manual Reversing Journal Entry.
