Before you can use the Product Lifecycle Management module, you must set up product lifecycle management teams, tasks, workflow definitions, and rules.
The following diagram illustrates the setup flow.
Note Product projects only must be set up if you want to track new development for which database records do not yet exist.
After you have performed all required setup, users can perform tasks. The following diagram illustrates this process flow.
Note If you set up rules for workflow and team assignment, you do not need to assign workflow definitions or product lifecycle management teams to workflows.
