Menu Path: Purchasing Distribution Resource Planning Setup Buying Method Forecast Alert Method Maintenance
Enter, view, edit, or delete forecast alert methods.
Use Forecast Alert Method Maintenance to set up calculations to determine forecast alert requirements. Forecast alerts are used to compare forecast units with actual sales and to find products/locations that are extremely over or under forecast. Forecast alert methods are used to construct buying methods in Buying Method Maintenance.
You can build standard and custom forecast alert methods based on different forecast alert parameters and forecast alert logic.

This field displays the type of field (character, integer, decimal, date, or logical) associated with the selected parameter. This is specified only by Apprise. |

Enter the default value for the selected parameter in the Parameters grid, or click the Lookup button to select a default value. Note This default value can be changed when setting up a buying method. |
