Purpose

Cancel material issues.

Use Material Cancel to cancel a material issue created in Material Issue for a specific or all operations for a work order.

Note If you want to cancel a batch of material issues, use Material Issue Batch Cancel.

To cancel material issues:

Enter the location prefix or name for the material issue you want to cancel in the Location field.
Enter the work order number for the material issue you want to cancel in the Work Order field.
Enter the operation for which you want to cancel a material issue in the Operation field, or enter the operation sequence number in the Sequence field. If you want to cancel material issues for all operations for a work order, select the All Operations check box. After you select an operation or all operations, the material issues display.
Verify that the correct material issues are displayed.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The material issues are cancelled.

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Material Cancel window.
OK	Click this button to cancel the selected material issue. This button is only available after you select the location, work order, and operation(s) for which you want to cancel material issues.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel the cancellation of the material issue. This button is only available after you select the location, work order, and operation(s) for which you want to cancel material issues.

Field or Button	Description
Location	Enter a location prefix or code for which to cancel a material issue, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select a location prefix or name.
Work Order	Enter a work order number for which to cancel a material issue, or click the Lookup button to select a work order.
Sequence	Enter an operation sequence number for which to cancel a material issue, or click the Lookup button to select a sequence number.
All Operations	Select this check box to cancel a material issue for all operations for the selected work order.
Operation	Enter an operation code or name for which to cancel a material issue, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select an operation code or name. These fields are only enabled if the All Operations check box is cleared.
Material Issues	This grid displays material issues that meet the selected criteria.
