Purpose

Add, change, or delete products listed on an order pad.

Overview

Use Order Pad Maintenance to maintain a product list for an order pad. After an order pad method has been set up in Order Pad Method Maintenance, you can manually add, change, or delete products that appear on the specific order pad. You can also import order pad data in Order Pad Import.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Order Pad Maintenance window.
Update	Click this button to update the selected order pad method. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Show Data	Click this button to display order pad information. This button is only available if you click the Inquiry tab.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the window.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the window.
First	Click this button to display the first order pad method. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous order pad method. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Next	Click this button to display the next order pad method. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.
Last	Click this button to display the last order pad method. This button is only available if the Main tab is displayed.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Order Pad Method	Enter an order pad method, or click the Lookup button to select an order pad method.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Description	This field displays the description of the selected order pad method.
Customer Code	Enter a customer code for the order pad, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. This field is only available if you enter a customer type order pad method in the Order Pad Method field.
Customer Name	Enter a customer name for the order pad, or click the Lookup button to select a customer name. This field is only available if you enter a customer type order pad method in the Order Pad Method field.
Price Book	Enter a price book for the order pad, or click the Lookup button to select a price book. This field is only available if you enter a price book type order pad method in the Order Pad Method field.
Product Code	Enter a product code to add to the order pad, or click the Lookup button to select a product code.
Product Name	Enter a product name to add to the order pad, or click the Lookup button to select a product name.
U/M	Click the Lookup button to select a unit of measure for the selected product for the order pad. This defaults to the default selling unit of measure. This field is only enabled if you clear the Default selling UM check box.
Default selling UM	Select this check box to use the default selling unit of measure for the order pad. This check box is selected by default.
Sequence	Enter a sequence number. This number automatically increments by the value entered in the Increment Seq By field. The sequence determines the sequential order of products being displayed during order entry.
Add	Click this button to add the selected product to the Defined Products grid.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected product from the Defined Products grid.
Defined Products	This grid displays the products selected for the order pad.
Move Up	Click this button to move the selected product up one row in the Defined Products grid.
Move Down	Click this button to move the selected product down one row in the Defined Products grid.
Increment Seq By	Enter a number for increasing the sequence number used for the Defined Products grid. This value defaults to 10.
Seq	Click this button to resequence the products in the Defined Products grid based on the value entered in the Increment Seq By field.

Note This tab is disabled if you are editing an order pad method.

Order Pad Methods

This grid displays order pad methods after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Double-click an order pad method to select it and display information for it on the Main tab.

Note This grid is cached to improve performance. You cannot sort, filter, group, graph, or summarize data in this grid.
