Purpose

Allow users to view data for specific scorecard profit groups.

Overview

Use Scorecard Profit Group Security Maintenance to set up user access to scorecard profit groups. You can select specific scorecard profit groups for each user ID or you can select specific user ID's for each group.

Setting Up Scorecard Profit Group Security by User

To set up scorecard profit group security by user:

Select the profit type for which you want to set up security (Customer, Product, or Supplier).
Enter the user ID of a user for which you want to set up security in the User field. The scorecard profit groups the user can access appear in the right grid and the groups the user cannot access appear in the left grid.
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Double-click scorecard profit groups in the left grid that you want to allow the user to access. If you want to remove access from a group, double-click the group in the right grid. You can also click the Add All or Remove All buttons to grant or revoke access for all groups.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The user security is updated.

Setting Up Scorecard Profit Group Security by Scorecard Profit Group

Select the profit type for which you want to set up security (Customer, Product, or Supplier).
Click the Profit Group tab.
Enter a scorecard profit group code for which you want to set up security in the Profit Group Code field. The users that can access data for the group appear in the right grid and the users that cannot access data for the group appear in the left grid.
Click the Update button in the ribbon.
Double-click users in the left grid that you want to allow to access the scorecard profit group you entered in step 3. If you want to revoke a user's access, double-click the user in the right grid. You can also click the Add All or Remove All buttons to grant or revoke access for all users.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The user security is updated.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Scorecard Profit Group Security Maintenance window.
Update	Click this button to update the security access for the selected user or scorecard profit group.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the ribbon.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Profit Type	Select whether to view or update scorecard profit group security for customers, products, or suppliers.

User Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
User	Enter a user ID for which you want to change scorecard profit group security access, or click the Lookup button to select a user ID.
Available Profit Groups	This grid displays scorecard profit groups that the selected user ID cannot access.
Add All	Click this button to add all scorecard profit groups in the Available Profit Groups grid to the Selected Profit Groups grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Add	Click this button to add the selected scorecard profit group in the Available Profit Groups grid to the Selected Profit Groups grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected scorecard profit group from the Selected Profit Groups grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all scorecard profit groups from the Selected Profit Groups grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Selected Profit Groups	This grid displays scorecard profit groups that the selected user ID can access.

Field or Button	Description
Profit Group Code	Enter a scorecard profit group code for which you want to change scorecard profit group security access, or click the Lookup button to select a scorecard profit group code. For information on setting up scorecard profit group codes, see Scorecard Profit Group Maintenance.
Available Users	This grid displays users that cannot access the selected scorecard profit group.
Add All	Click this button to add all users in the Available Users grid to the Selected Users grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Add	Click this button to add the selected user in the Available Users grid to the Selected Users grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected user from the Selected Users grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all users from the Selected Users grid. This button is only enabled after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Selected Users	This grid displays users allowed to access the selected scorecard profit group.
