Purpose

Maintain scorecard profit groups.

Overview

Use Scorecard Profit Group Maintenance to create, update, and delete scorecard profit groups. Scorecard profit groups are groups of billing customers, products, or suppliers for which you want to analyze profitability in Scorecard Management Analysis and Scorecard Analysis.

Note If a customer, product, or supplier is added or removed from a scorecard profit group, a warning message appears, which informs you that profitability data must be refreshed. To refresh profitability data, use Scorecard Data Refresh.

Creating Scorecard Profit Groups

To create a scorecard profit group:

Select the profit type for the scorecard profit group (Customer, Product, or Supplier).
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a code for the scorecard profit group in the Profit Group Code field.
Enter a name for the scorecard profit group in the Profit Group Name field
Assign customers, products, or suppliers to the scorecard profit group. You can use the ribbon buttons to quickly add all unassigned customers, products, or suppliers. You can also assign customers, products, or suppliers individually, by entering a code/name, and clicking the Add button.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The scorecard profit group is created.

Note Users cannot access the new scorecard profit group until permission to access it is granted in Scorecard Profit Group Security Maintenance.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Scorecard Profit Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new scorecard profit group.
Update	If the General tab is displayed, click this button to update the selected scorecard profit group. If the Unassigned Customers, Unassigned Products, or Unassigned Suppliers tab is displayed, click this button to assign a customer, product, or supplier to a scorecard profit group.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected scorecard profit group.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available if you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Add Unassigned Customers	Click this button to add all customers that are not currently assigned to a scorecard profit group to the selected scorecard profit group. This button is only available if you select the Customer radio button, and then click the New or Update button in the ribbon.
Add Unassigned Products	Click this button to add all products that are not currently assigned to a scorecard profit group to the selected scorecard profit group. This button is only available if you select the Product radio button, and then click the New or Update button in the ribbon.
Add Unassigned Suppliers	Click this button to add all suppliers that are not currently assigned to a scorecard profit group to the selected scorecard profit group. This button is only available if you select the Supplier radio button, and then click the New or Update button in the ribbon.
Show Data	Click this button to display customers, products, or suppliers that are not assigned to a scorecard profit group. This button is only available if you click the Unassigned Customers, Unassigned Products, or Unassigned Suppliers tab.
First	Click this button to display the first scorecard profit group for the selected profit type.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous scorecard profit group for the selected profit type.
Next	Click this button to display the next scorecard profit group for the selected profit type.
Last	Click this button to display the last scorecard profit group for the selected profit type.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Profit Type	Select whether to view, create, edit, or delete scorecard profit groups for customers, products, or suppliers.

General Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Profit Group Code	Enter a scorecard profit group code, or click the Lookup button to select an existing scorecard profit group code. Note You can update the profit group code of an existing code.
Display Sequence	Enter a display sequence for the scorecard profit group. Lower numbers are displayed first.
Profit Group Name	Enter a name for the scorecard profit group, or click the Lookup button to select an existing scorecard profit group name.
Billing Customer Code/Product Code/Supplier Code	Enter a billing customer, product, or supplier code you want to add to the selected scorecard profit group, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer, product, or supplier code.
Add	Click this button to add the selected billing customer, product, or supplier to the selected scorecard profit group.
Billing Customer Name/Product Name/Supplier Name	Enter a billing customer, product, or supplier name you want to add to the selected scorecard profit group, or click the Lookup button to select a billing customer, product, or supplier name.
Remove	Click this button to remove the selected billing customer, product, or supplier from the scorecard profit group.
Remove All	Click this button to remove all billing customers, products, or suppliers from the scorecard profit group.
Customers/Products/Suppliers	This grid displays billing customers, products, or suppliers in the selected scorecard profit group. You can use the Add, Remove, and Remove All buttons to add and remove customers, products, or suppliers from a selected scorecard profit group. You can also double-click a customer, product, or supplier to remove it from the selected scorecard profit group. Note This grid is cached to improve performance. You cannot sort, filter, group, graph, or summarize data in this grid.

Unassigned Customers/Products/Suppliers Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Unassigned Customers/Products/Suppliers	This grid displays customers, products, or suppliers that are not currently assigned to a scorecard profit group. To assign a customer, product, or supplier to a scorecard profit group, click the Update button in the ribbon, and then enter the scorecard profit group code in the Profit Group column.
