Screen Build Order Override

To use Screen Build Order Override, right-click the definition diagram in Monitoring Definition Designer or Lifecycle Definition Designer, and select Override Order.

Note If you right-click a tab in the diagram, you can only change the order for the tab. If you right-click a section, you can only change the order for the section. If you want to change the order for the entire workflow definition, right-click a blank space outside of any tabs.

Purpose

Change the order of tabs, sections, or tasks for workflow data entry.

Overview

Use Screen Build Order Override to update the order or tabs, sections, and tasks for workflow data entry.

Example A workflow includes three tabs. You want to move the second tab to be the first tab.

Screen Build Order Override does not affect the order of data entry tasks if you are using Simplified mode. For more information on Simplified mode, see Using Lifecycle Definition Designer and Using Monitoring Definition Designer.

Tab/Section/Task Order

This grid displays the order of tabs, sections, and tasks that are displayed during data entry. Select a tab, section, or task you want to reorder, and then use the arrow buttons to change the order.

Click this button to move the selected tab, section, or task up to be first in the order priority.

Click this button to move the selected tab, section, or task up one position in the order priority.

Click this button to move the selected tab, section, or task down one position in the order priority.

Click this button to move the selected tab, section, or task up to be last in the order priority.
