Serial Allocation

To use Serial Allocation, select a serial-tracked product in O/E Line Item Entry, and then click the Allocation button in the ribbon.

Purpose

Select serial numbers used in orders.

Overview

Use Serial Allocation to specify the serial numbers used for a specific line item on an order. You can also use this window to view picked serial numbers.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Serial Allocation window.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Bin	Enter a bin for the product, or click the Lookup button to select a bin.
Qty Available	This field displays the total quantity available for the product in all serial numbers.
Position to	If you want to display a specific serial number in the Available Serial Numbers grid, enter a serial number in this field, and then press the Tab key.
Available Serial Numbers	This grid displays all serial numbers for which the product is available. Double-click a serial number to select it for the order, and add it to the Selected Serial Numbers grid.
	Click this button to add all serial numbers in the Available Serial Numbers grid to the Selected Serial Numbers grid until the quantity ordered is filled.
	Click this button to add a serial number selected in the Available Serial Numbers grid to the Selected Serial Numbers grid.
Selected Serial Numbers	This grid displays all serial numbers that you have selected to use for the order. Double-click a serial number to remove it from the grid.
	Click this button to remove a serial number selected in the Selected Serial Numbers grid.
	Click this button to remove all serial numbers from the Selected Serial Numbers grid.
Picked Serial Numbers	This grid displays information about serial numbers that have been picked after the product has been picked for shipping.
Qty Allocated	This field displays the total quantity of the product allocated by serial number.
Qty Picked to Date	This field displays the total quantity of the product that has been picked.
Qty Ordered	This field displays the total quantity of the product that is on the current order.
