Purpose

Create, edit, or delete shipper routing codes.

Overview

Use Shipper Routing Maintenance to define and maintain shipper routing codes. You can associate each shipper routing code with a range of postal codes.

Note Before you can create, edit, or delete routing codes, you must enter a shipper interface and country. For information on setting up shipper interfaces, see Shipper Interface Maintenance. For information on setting up country codes, see Country Maintenance.

You can also import shipper routing codes in Shipper Routing Import.

Creating Shipper Routing Codes

To create a shipper routing code:

Enter a shipper interface in the Shipper Interface field, or click the Lookup button to select a shipper interface.
Enter a country code in the Country field, or click the Lookup button to select a country code.
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter the first postal code for the routing code in the Postal Code Low field.
Enter the last postal code for the routing code in the Postal Code High field.
Enter the routing code in the Routing Code field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The shipper routing code is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Shipper Routing Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new shipper routing code. Note You cannot create a new shipper routing code until you enter a shipper interface and country.
Update	Click this button to edit the selected shipper routing code.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected shipper routing code.
Delete All	Click this button to delete all shipper routing codes for a selected shipper interface and country.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the routing codes for the first country that has routing codes for the selected shipper interface.
Prev	Click this button to display the routing codes for the previous country that has routing codes for the selected shipper interface.
Next	Click this button to display the routing codes for the next country that has routing codes for the selected shipper interface.
Last	Click this button to display the routing codes for the last country that has routing codes for the selected shipper interface.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Shipper Interface	Enter a shipper interface, or click the Lookup button to select a shipper interface. For information on setting up shipper interfaces, see Shipper Interface Maintenance.
Country	Enter a country code, or click the Lookup button to select a country code. For information on setting up country codes, see Country Maintenance.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Postal Code Low	Enter the first postal code in the postal code range for the routing code.
Postal Code High	Enter the last postal code in the postal code range for the routing code.
Routing Code	Enter the routing code.
Routing Code	This grid displays all routing codes and associated postal code ranges. Select a routing code in the grid, and then click the Update button in the ribbon to edit it or the Delete button in the ribbon to delete it.
