Define shipping cartons.
Use Shipping Carton Maintenance to define cartons, which are used for packing products to be shipped to customers. For more information, see Cartonization FAQ.

Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon. |

Carton Zone Maintenance |
Click this button to display Shipping Carton Zone Maintenance, which allows you to define shipping cartons by zone. |

Enter a unit of measure for the carton's length, width, and height, or click the Lookup button to select a unit of measure. |

Enter the maximum number of units that can fit in the carton based on the product unit of measure. The product unit of measure is entered for each product in the Product U/M field on the General tab in Product Maintenance. You should consider that products are not necessarily picked in the product unit of measure when you enter this value. Example You enter 6 in this field. Product A's product unit of measure is Units and Product B's product unit of measure is case2. The carton can fit 6 units of Product A or 6 case2's of Product B. It can also fit a combination of the two products, such as 3 units of Product A and 3 case2's of Product B. However, if Product A is picked in case6's, the carton can only fit 1 case6 of Product A or 6 case2's of Product B. |
