Purpose

View tally sheets for a physical inventory ID.

Overview

Use Tally Sheet Inquiry to display tally sheet information for a specific physical inventory ID. You can view information for all or a specific tally sheet for a physical inventory ID. You can also select to display processed, unprocessed, or both processed and unprocessed tally sheets.

Using the Inquiry

To use Tally Sheet Inquiry:

  1. Enter a location prefix or name for which to display tally sheet information in the Location Prefix or Location Name field.

  2. Enter a physical inventory ID for which to display tally sheet information in the Physical Inventory ID field.

  3. If you want to only display information for a specific tally sheet, clear the All check box and enter a tally sheet code in the Tally Sheet Code field.

  4. If you do not want to display deleted tally sheets, clear the Show deleted tally sheets check box.

  5. Select whether you want to display processed, unprocessed, or both processed and unprocessed tally sheets. If you select the Processed or Unprocessed radio button and do not want to display locked tally sheets, clear the Display all locked tally sheets check box.

  6. Click the Show Data button in the ribbon. Tally sheet information displays based on the selected criteria.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Location Prefix

Enter a location prefix for which to display tally sheet information, or click the Lookup button to select a location prefix. This defaults to the default shipping location prefix for your user ID.

Location Name

Enter a location name for which to display tally sheet information, or click the Lookup button to select a location name. This defaults to the default shipping location name for your user ID.

Physical Inventory ID

Enter a physical inventory ID for which to display tally sheet information, or click the Lookup button to select a physical inventory ID.

All

Select this check box to display all tally sheets for the selected physical inventory ID. This check box is selected by default.

Tally Sheet Code

Enter a tally sheet code for which you want to display information, or click the Lookup button to select a tally sheet code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All check box.

Show deleted tally sheets

Select this check box to display tally sheets that were deleted. This check box is selected by default.

Display Options

Select whether to display processed, unprocessed, or both processed and unprocessed tally sheets.

Note A tally sheet is marked as processed after all data for the tally sheet is consolidated in the associated physical inventory entry record.

Display all locked tally sheets

Select this check box to display tally sheets that are locked. This check box is selected by default, and only enabled if you select the Processed or Unprocessed radio button.

Tally Sheets

This grid displays tally sheet information based on the selected criteria. Double-click a tally sheet to display Physical Inventory Tally Sheet Maintenance, which allows you to enter, view, edit, or delete the tally sheet.
