Purpose

Update a history table that stores a history of quantity on hand and average cost for every product in every location.

Overview

Use Turns and Earns Daily Update to create a snapshot of every product/location’s quantity on-hand and average cost, as of the time it is run, and store the date in a history table. To run the Turns and Earns Analysis, you need to have a history table with historical quantity on hand and average cost information. Typically this program is set up to automatically run during off-hours (e.g., 3 AM in the morning) for consistency and to not interfere with normal operations.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Turns and Earns Daily Update window.
Schedule Job	Click this button to display Task Schedule Options, which allows you to set up the schedule for exporting with Scheduling Assistant. This button is only available if you select the Schedule radio button.
Create Data	Click this button to update the quantity on hand and average cost data.

Inquiry Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Today's Date	This field displays the current date and the day of the week.
Process	Select whether the data is run now or run by Scheduling Assistant. If you select the Schedule radio button, you can specify when the task occurs by clicking the Schedule Job button in the ribbon. For more information, see Scheduling Assistant.
