Work Order Confirm

Purpose

Confirm work orders.

Overview

Use Work Order Confirm to confirm work orders after products have been built into manufactured goods. After a work order has been successfully confirmed, its status becomes Completed, and can be posted in Work Order Post.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Work Order Confirm window.

Confirm

Click this button to display Work Order Confirm Entry, which allows you to confirm quantities and work time for the selected operation or all operations.

Update

Click this button to display Work Order Confirm Entry, which allows you to confirm quantities and work time for the selected confirmation record. You can only update the most recent confirmation record for work orders that have multiple confirmation records.

Delete

Click this button to delete a confirmation record. You cannot delete confirmation records for which inventory has been adjusted. You can only delete the most recent confirmation record for work orders that have multiple confirmation records.

Fields and Buttons

Button

Description

Work Order #

Enter the work order number for the work order you want to confirm, or click the Lookup button to select a work order number. You can also click the button to the right of the Lookup button to select a previously confirmed work order that is not fully adjusted. You cannot select completed and fully adjusted, voided, or on hold work orders.

After you enter a work order number, the product code and name display for the manufactured good built for the work order.

Product

These fields display the product code and name for the selected work order.

Expected Quantity

These fields display the quantity and unit of measure expected to be built for the selected work order. This is the ordered quantity that was entered on the work order, and cannot be changed.

Completed Quantity

These fields display the total quantity and unit of measure of the product that has been built for the work order.

Completed

This check box is selected if the work order is completed.

Confirmation Tab Fields and Buttons

Button

Description

Display

Select whether to display goods and cost information on the Goods and Costs tabs for all confirmations or the selected confirmation in the Confirmations grid.

Confirm

Select whether to confirm all operations for the selected work order, or a specific operation.

Operation

Enter an operation sequence number, code, or name for which you want to confirm quantities and work time. This field is only enabled if you select the Selected Operation radio button.

Confirmations

This grid displays confirmation records for the selected work order.

Goods Tab Fields and Buttons

Description

Display

Select whether to display components for all operations or only the operation selected in the Operations grid.

Operations

This grid displays operation information for the selected work order confirmation or all confirmations (based on the Display setting on the Confirmation tab). If you select the Selected Operation radio button, select an operation to display component information for it.

Goods

This grid displays component information for the selected operation or work order (based on the Display setting).

Costs Tab Fields and Buttons

Description

Display

Select whether to display costs for all operations or only the operation selected in the Operations grid.

Operations

This grid displays operation information for the selected work order confirmation or all confirmations (based on the Display setting on the Confirmation tab). If you select the Selected Operation radio button, select an operation to display cost categories for it.

Costs

This grid displays cost information for the selected operation or work order (based on the Display setting).

Note Displayed outside processing costs are estimates until inventory is adjusted for the work order.
