Settings

When you click Settings in the Main Menu window, the following options appear:

The following table lists the available settings.

Tab

Description

Look and Feel

Select this option to display the following options:

  • Recorder Manager - Select this option to display Recorder Manager, which allows you to manage recordings.

  • Dashboard Management - Select this option to display Dashboard Management, which allows you to manage dashboards.

  • Alerts/KPIs - Select this option to view your alert and KPI user options in Alert and KPI User Access Maintenance.

  • Record Dashboard - Select this option to record a dashboard.

  • Top Left / Top Right / Bottom Left / Bottom Right - Select the panels to display for your Home screen. For more information, see Main Menu.

  • Upload - Select a user image that appears in the bottom-left of the Main Menu window.

  • Clear - Clear a user image that was previously selected.

  • Color Scheme - Click the drop-down arrow to select the color scheme for Apprise (Urbano, Pyro, Minto, or Alto).

  • Font Size - Click the drop-down arrow to select a default font size for Apprise.

  • Apply - Click this button to apply changes.

  • Cancel - Click this button to cancel making changes.

My Settings

Select this option to display the following options:

  • Change Password - Select this option to change your password in Password Update.

  • My Default Options - Select this option to change default user options in Default Options Update.

  • My Extended Options - Select this option to change default customer service, purchasing, warehouse, accounts receivable, credit, collections, and notes options for your user ID in User Extended Options.

  • Change System ID - Select this option to switch between system ID's in System ID Update without logging out.

  • Change Ledger ID - Select this option to switch between ledger ID's in Ledger ID Update.

Tools

Select this option to display the following options:

  • Send Feedback - Select this option to email comments or suggestions about Apprise. You can optionally include an image of the window and an email address with your feedback.

  • Clear Screen Cache - Select this option to clear your screen cache.

  • Clear Menu Cache - Select this option to clear your menu cache.

  • Clear Report Cache - Select this option to clear the report cache for the system ID you are logged into. This deletes report files that are stored in the report temporary folder, and may free space on the computer. For information on setting up the location of the report temporary folder, see Profile Manager.

  • Mail - Select this menu option to send, reply, archive, and delete internal email messages in Mail.

  • Note log - Select this menu option to make internal notes and set reminders for yourself in Notes Entry.

Previous Tasks

Select this option to display all recent tasks with the most recent tasks at the top.

Example If you last entered voucher #123, a previous task reads "Created A/P inv 123 Ref # Demo SuppID A+." This allows you to easily keep track of any transactions you completed.

You can define the amount of history that is displayed in System ID Maintenance.

About

Select this option to view user information for the user that is logged in and the Apprise company name, system ID, AppServer, and version.
