To use Add CRM Task, perform one of the following:
Click the Add Task or Add Related Task button in the ribbon in CRM Task Management.
Click the Add New Task button in the ribbon in Campaign Management.
Create a new CRM task.
Use Add CRM Task to create CRM tasks, which are used to track specific activities, such as mailing a catalog, emailing a customer, etc.
To create a CRM task:
Enter a start and end date for the task in the Start Date and End Date fields.
If the task is an all-day task, select the All Day Task check box. Otherwise, enter the start and end times in the Time fields.
Enter a name for the task in the Task Name field.
Select whether the task is for a specific customer, qualified prospect, or prospect.
Enter the customer or prospect for the task.
Enter the contact for the task in the Contact Name field.
Enter any additional information for the task, as necessary.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The task is created. An Outlook appointment is sent to the task owner (if applicable).

Task Attachments |
Click this button to display Attachment Entry, which allows you to add and view attachments for the task. The icon for this button includes a check mark if attachments exist for the task. |

Select this check box to create the task for all targets of the campaign. This check box is only available if you access this window from Campaign Management. |

Enter the campaign for the task, or click the Lookup button to select a campaign. This field is disabled if you access this window from Campaign Management. |

Enter the name of the task, or click the Lookup button to select a task name. For information on setting up task names, see CRM Task Definition. |

Click the Lookup button to select the user that will be assigned the task. |
|
Enter a product code associated with the task (if applicable), or click the Lookup button to select a product code. |

Enter a product name associated with the task (if applicable), or click the Lookup button to select a product name. |

Enter notes or a description of the task. |

Select this check box if you want to mark the task as completed. |

Select the company type (customer, qualified prospect, or prospect) for each task. |

Enter the customer or prospect code for the task, or click the Lookup button to select a customer or prospect code. |

Enter the customer or prospect name for the task, or click the Lookup button to select a customer or prospect name. |

Enter the contact name for the task, or click the Lookup button to select a contact name. |
