Each product that needs to be tracked as a special product must have a code placed in the Special Product Code field on the Selling tab in Product Maintenance. You can change a special product code for a product at any time. No history is saved for a special product code (no history tables store the Special Product Code field).
Special product sales can be viewed in the Executive Information Systems module in Customer Special Product Analysis and Sales Representative Special Product Analysis.
