Purpose

View inventory rounding information.

Overview

Use Inventory Rounding Inquiry to display information about inventory rounding amounts that were calculated and posted.

Using the Inquiry

To use Inventory Rounding Inquiry:

  1. Select filter criteria for inventory rounding amounts you want to display.

  2. Click the Show Data button in the ribbon. The Results tab displays inventory rounding information.

Click this button to close the Inventory Rounding Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display inventory rounding data based on the selected criteria on the Select tab.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

All Sources

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all journal entry sources. This check box is selected by default.

Journal Entry Origin

Click the Lookup button to select a journal entry origin for which to display inventory rounding information. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sources check box.

All Locations

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all locations. This check box is selected by default.

Location Prefix

Enter a location prefix for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box. For more information on locations, see Location Code/Name.

Name (Location)

Enter a location name for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Locations check box. For more information on locations, see Location Code/Name.

All Products

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all products. This check box is selected by default.

Product Code

Enter a product code for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products check box. For more information on products, see Product Code and Name.

Name (Product)

Enter a product name for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Products check box. For more information on products, see Product Code and Name.

All Dates

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all dates. This check box is selected by default.

From Date

Enter the first created date for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Dates check box.

To Date

Enter the last created date for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Dates check box.

All Posting Periods

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all posting periods. This check box is selected by default, and is only enabled if you select the Posted radio button.

Period

Enter a period for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a period. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Posting Periods check box.

Year

Enter a year for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a year. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Posting Periods check box.

All Journals

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all journal entries. This check box is selected by default, and is only enabled if you select the Posted radio button.

Journal Number

Enter a journal entry number for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select a journal entry number. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Journals check box.

All Inventory Accounts

Select this check box to display inventory rounding information for all inventory accounts. This check box is selected by default.

Account

Enter an inventory account for which to display inventory rounding information, or click the Lookup button to select an account. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Inventory Accounts check box.

Include

Select whether to display unposted, posted, or both unposted and posted inventory rounding information.

This grid displays inventory rounding amounts for products/locations based on the selected criteria on the Select tab after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon.

System Generated Rounding Entries

This grid displays information about inventory rounding amounts automatically created from posted inventory rounding journal entries after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon.
