Menu Path: Manufacturing Work Order Processing Material Confirm
Confirm issued materials.
Use Material Confirm to confirm materials issued in Material Issue as part of the manufacturing process. When you confirm materials, you can specify the bin from which component products are picked and the quantity of the products picked. You can also select to adjust component inventory during the material confirmation, or you can adjust inventory later in Material Inventory Adjust. For more information on work order processing, see Work Order Process Flows.
Note If you want to confirm a batch of material issues, use Material Issue Batch Confirm.
To confirm materials:
Enter the location prefix or name in which you want to confirm materials in the Location field.
Enter the work order for which you want to confirm materials in the Work Order field.
Enter an operation or operation sequence number for which you want to confirm materials in the Operation or Sequence field. If you want to confirm materials for all operations for the selected work order, select the All Operations check box.
Enter the date of the confirmation in the Confirmation Date field.
If you want to confirm the recommended quantities of all materials are taken from the recommended bins, click the As Is button in the ribbon, and skip to step 8.
Select a component product, and click the Pick button in the ribbon. The Material Confirm Product Selection window appears. Enter the quantity picked and the bin from which the product is picked, and then click the Enter button. Click the OK button in the ribbon.
Repeat step 6 for all component products for the operation(s) for which you are confirming materials.
If you want to adjust inventory at the same time as the material confirmation, select the Adjust Inventory check box.
Click the OK button in the ribbon to confirm materials. The materials are confirmed.

Click this button to display Material Confirm Product Selection, which allows you to manually make any adjustments to the selected line. This includes the quantity issued, unit of measure, and bin. |
