Purpose

Overview

Use Physical Inventory Cycle Inquiry to display products in a specific location that have the same cycle class code. Additionally, you can assign new cycle class codes to specific products in a selected location.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button

Description

Exit

Click this button to close the Physical Inventory Cycle Inquiry window.

Update

Click this button to change the cycle class code for products in the Items grid if you have made changes in the New Cycle Class Code column.

OK

Click this button to accept changes to cycle class codes. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the ribbon.

Cancel

Click this button to cancel changes to cycle class codes. This button is only available if you click the Update button in the ribbon.

Show Items

Click this button to display products in the Items grid for the entered cycle class code.

Show Open Pick Demands

Click this button to display open pick demands in the Open Pick Demand grid for the product selected in the Items grid.

Related Order Inquiry

Click this button to display Order Relationship Inquiry, which allows you to view the relationships for the pick demand selected in the Open Pick Demand grid.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Shipping Prefix

Enter a shipping location prefix, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix.

Location

Enter a shipping location name, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name.

Cycle Class Code

Enter a product cycle class code, or click the Lookup button to select a cycle class code. For information on setting up cycle class codes, see Product Cycle Count Class Maintenance.

Items

This grid displays products for the selected cycle class code after you click the Show Items button in the ribbon. You can click the Update button in the ribbon, enter a new cycle class code for products in the New Cycle Class Code column, and then click the OK button in the ribbon to save the change.

Open Pick Demand

This grid displays open pick demands for the selected product in the Items grid after you click the Show Open Pick Demands button in the ribbon. Double-click a pick demand to display Order Relationship Inquiry, which allows you to view the relationship between orders, pick demands, invoices, and purchase orders.
