Pick Sequence Group Maintenance

Purpose

Add, update, or delete picking sequence groups.

Overview

Use Pick Sequence Group Maintenance to group products together solely for the purpose of picking them in a sequential order. For more information, see Product Pick Group Maintenance and Customer Pick Group Maintenance.

Example if you have five products to pick and one of them is bocce balls (heavy) and the others are small products like air hockey pucks and jelly balls, you may want to direct the user to pick the heavier products first so they get placed on the bottom of the pallet before picking the other four products. You could, in this example, define two pick sequence groups, heavy and light, and assign them a value (picking from lowest to highest) of 1 and 2, respectively; then assign them to the products. When you print pick demands, you would then select to sort by pick sequence rather than by bin sequence or product name.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Pick Sequence Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new pick sequence group.
Update	Click this button to update the selected pick sequence group.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected pick sequence group.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first pick sequence group.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous pick sequence group.
Next	Click this button to display the next pick sequence group.
Last	Click this button to display the last pick sequence group.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Pick Sequence Group	Enter a pick sequence group name, or click the Lookup button to select a pick sequence group name.
