Purpose

Set up and maintain customer pick groups.

Overview

Use Customer Pick Group Maintenance to create, edit, and delete customer pick groups. Customer pick groups are used to create pick demands in Pick Demand Create and Print specifically for a group of customers. For more information, see Product Pick Group Maintenance and Pick Sequence Group Maintenance.

Example If you only want to pick Wal-Mart store orders (without creating pick demands for other customers’ orders), you can create a customer pick group of Wal-Mart and assign it to each Wal-Mart customer. Then, in Pick Demand Create and Print, you can select that customer pick group.

Creating Customer Pick Groups

To create a customer pick group:

Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter a name for the customer pick group in the Pick Group field.
Enter a description of the customer pick group in the Description field.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The customer pick group is created.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Customer Pick Group Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new customer pick group.
Update	Click this button to update the selected customer pick group.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected customer pick group. NOTE You cannot delete a customer pick group that is associated with customers.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first customer pick group.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous customer pick group.
Next	Click this button to display the next customer pick group.
Last	Click this button to display the last customer pick group.

Pick Group	Enter a customer pick group name, or click the Lookup button to select an existing customer pick group.
