If you set up product styles in Style Maintenance, and assign products to the styles in Product Maintenance, changes you make to one product in a style can be copied to other products in the style. If you select the Yes radio button for the Propagate Updates Across All Products option for a style, changes to one product in the style are automatically made to other products in the style.
If you select the Prompt With Defaults or Prompt With No Defaults radio button for the Propagate Updates Across All Products option for a style, copy data as follows:
Make changes to one product in the style in Product Maintenance or Product Location Maintenance.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The Question dialog box appears, and asks if you want to update other products of the same style. Click the Yes button.
In Product Style Selection, add all products to which you want to copy changes to the Selected Products grid.
Add all fields for which you want to copy changes to the Selected Fields grid.
Click the OK button in the ribbon.
Note You can also copy data for specific locations in Product Location Selection. The fields you select in both Product Style Selection and Product Location Selection are copied to the selected products and locations.
