Allocated and In Use Product Inquiry

To use Allocated and In Use Product Inquiry, perform one of the following:

Purpose

View allocated and in-use quantities for products.

Overview

Use Allocated and In Use Product Inquiry to view product allocations and in-use products for a specific location or bin. You can also specify a unit of measure to view allocations and in-use products only for that unit of measure. If you display allocations and in-use products by bin, you can view information for specific bin moves and pick demands.

Exit

Click this button to close the Allocated and In Use Product Inquiry window.

Show Data

Display data in the Allocated and In Use Products grid based on the selected criteria.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Product Code

Enter the product code for which to view quantities, or click the Lookup button to select a product.

Product Name

Enter the product name for which to view quantities, or click the Lookup button to select a product.

Location (Prefix)

Enter the location prefix for which to view quantities, or click the Lookup button to select a location.

Location (Name)

Enter the location name for which to view quantities, or click the Lookup button to select a location.

Bin

Enter a bin number, or click the Lookup button to select a bin number. This field is only enabled if you select the Bin Level radio button.

Display

Select whether to view quantities for a specific location or bin.

UM Code

Enter a unit of measure if you want to view quantities for a specific unit of measure, or click the Lookup button to select a unit of measure.

Allocated and In Use Products

This grid displays allocated quantities and quantities in use for the selected criteria.

Double-click an order to display Order Edit, which allows you to view and update the order.

Note If you are not authorized to use Order Edit, the Order Entry window appears instead, and allows you to view and update information for the order. If you are not authorized to use Order Edit or Order Entry, the Order Inquiry window appears instead, and allows you to view order information for the order.

Double-click an inventory reservation to display Product Inventory Reservation Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed inventory reservation information.

Double-click a bin move to display Directed Putaway and Bin Replenish, which allows you to create, edit, and print directed putaway and replenishment demands.

Double-click a pick demand to display Pick Confirm Inquiry, which allows you to view detailed pick demand information.

This grid includes the following columns:

  • Record Type - This column displays the cause of each allocation or reason a quantity is in use.

  • ID - This column displays the number associated with each record, such as a pick demand number.

  • Qty Alloc / Allocated Quantity - This column displays the quantity allocated for each allocation.

  • UM Code - This column displays the unit of measure for each record.

  • Customer Code - This column displays the customer code for each record.

  • Customer Name - This column displays the customer name for each record.

  • Bin Name - This column displays the bin name for each record. This column is only available if you are viewing quantities for bins.

  • Not Available Bin - The check box in this column is selected for bins marked as not available. This column is only available if you are viewing allocated quantities for bins.

  • Not Available Quantity in Use - This column displays quantity in use (such as for bin moves) for bins that are marked as not available. This column is only available if you are viewing allocated quantities for bins.
