Companion Order Inquiry

To use Companion Order Inquiry, click the Companion Order button in the ribbon in Companion Product Maintenance, Customer Price Maintenance, Price Book Price Maintenance, Price Book/Product Profit Price Maintenance, and Product Price Maintenance.

Purpose

View orders for companion products.

Overview

Use Companion Order Inquiry to display orders for a companion product rule. You can filter the orders by shipping location, sales location, order dates, and required dates.

Using the Inquiry

To use Companion Order Inquiry:

  1. Select filter criteria on the Select tab.

  2. Click the Show Data button in the ribbon. The Results tab displays the companion order information based on the criteria selected in step 1. You can use the ribbon buttons to display more detailed information for an order.

Click this button to close the Companion Order Inquiry window.

Show Data

Click this button to display open order information on the Results tab, based on the criteria selected on the Select tab.

Order Detail

Click this button to display Order Edit, which allows you to view and update order information for the order selected in the Orders grid.

Note If you are not authorized to use Order Edit, the Order Entry window appears instead, and allows you to view and update information for the selected order. If you are not authorized to use Order Edit or Order Entry, the Order Inquiry window appears instead, and allows you to view order information for the selected order.

Order Lines

Click this button to display Line Items, which allows you to view line item information for the selected order.

Description

All Shipping Locations

Select this check box to display orders for all shipping locations. This check box is selected by default.

Prefix (Shipping Location)

Enter a shipping location prefix for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Shipping Locations check box. For more information on shipping locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

Name (Shipping Location)

Enter a shipping location name for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Shipping Locations check box. For more information on shipping locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

All Sales Locations

Select this check box to display orders for all sales locations. This check box is selected by default.

Prefix (Sales Location)

Enter a sales location prefix for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a sales location prefix. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sales Locations check box. For more information on sales locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

Name (Sales Location)

Enter a sales location name for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a sales location name. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Sales Locations check box. For more information on sales locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.

All Customer Codes

Select this check box to display orders for all customers. If you are viewing orders for a single customer, this check box is disabled and cleared. Otherwise, this check box is selected by default.

From (Customer)

Enter a customer code for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. If you want to display orders for a range of customer codes, enter the first customer code in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Customer Codes check box.

To (Customer)

Enter the last customer code in a range of customer codes for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code. If you want to display orders for a single customer code, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Customer Codes check box.

All Order Dates

Select this check box to display orders for all order dates. This check box is selected by default.

From (Order Date)

Enter an order date for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. If you want to display orders for a range of order dates, enter the first date in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Order Dates check box.

To (Order Date)

Enter the last date in a range of order dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. If you want to display orders for a single date, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Order Dates check box.

All Required Dates

Select this check box to display orders for all required dates. This check box is selected by default.

From (Required Date)

Enter a required date for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. If you want to display orders for a range of required dates, enter the first date in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Required Dates check box.

To (Required Date)

Enter the last date in a range of required dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. If you want to display orders for a single required date, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Required Dates check box.

Orders

This grid displays companion order information for the criteria specified on the Select tab after you click the Show Data button in the ribbon.

Order Line Details

This grid displays order line items that triggered companion products for the selected order in the Orders grid. Double-click an order to display Line Items, which allows you to view the line item information for the order.

Companion Line Details

This grid displays companion product line items for the selected order in the Orders grid. Double-click an order to display Line Items, which allows you to view the line item information for the order.
