Question: How do I turn on the price change reason code functionality?

Where Setup

Select the Require Price Change Reason check box.

This turns on the price change reason code functionality system-wide.

Cost/Pricing tab in Customer Service Control Maintenance

Select YES in the Price Change Reason Option field.

This turns on the price change reason code functionality for an order class.

Options tab in Order Class Maintenance

Select Yes in the Require Price Change Reason field.

This turns on the price change reason code functionality for a user.

Customer Service tab in User Extended Options

Note All three of these check boxes must be selected for the price change reason code to be required.

Example If the check box is selected for the user, but not the order class, then a price change reason code is not required.
