Purpose

View open and closed orders for a selected product and/or style.

Overview

Use Product / Style Order Inquiry to display orders for products or styles. You can view orders for a specific location, order dates, required dates, products, or customers, or for all locations, order dates, required dates, products, or customers. You can also select whether or not to include open/pending special orders, quotes, direct-ship orders, and drop-ship orders, and to include only orders of a specific status or all statuses.

Click this button to close the Product / Style Order Inquiry window.

Click this button to display order information on the Results tab, based on the criteria selected on the Select tab.

Modify My Additional Filters

Click this button to display Screen Additional Filters Maintenance, which allows you to set up additional filters for the Product / Style Order Inquiry window.

Select Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

All Locations

Select this check box to display orders for all locations. This check box is cleared by default.

Location Prefix

Enter a shipping location prefix for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location prefix. For more information on shipping locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location. This field is only enabled if the All Locations check box is cleared.

Name (Shipping Location)

Enter a shipping location name for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a shipping location name. For more information on shipping locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location. This field is only enabled if the All Locations check box is cleared.

All Order Dates

Select this check box to display orders for all order dates. This check box is selected by default.

From (Order Date)

Enter the first order date in a range of orders dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select an order date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Order Dates check box.

To (Order Date)

Enter the last order date in a range of orders dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select an order date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Order Dates check box.

All Required Dates

Select this check box to display orders for all required dates. This check box is selected by default.

From (Required Date)

Enter the first required date in a range of required dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a required date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Required Dates check box.

To (Required Date)

Enter the last required date in a range of required dates for which to display orders, or click the drop-down arrow to select a required date. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Required Dates check box.

All Orders

Select this check box to display all orders. This check box is selected by default.

From (Order)

Enter an order number you want to display, or click the Lookup button to select an order number. If you want to display a range of orders, enter the first order number in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Orders check box.

To (Order)

Enter the last order number in a range of order numbers you want to display, or click the Lookup button to select an order number. If you want to display a single order, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Orders check box.

All Product Codes

Select this check box to display orders for all products. This check box is selected by default.

From (Product Code)

Enter a product code for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. If you want to display orders for a range of products, enter the first product code in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Product Codes check box.

To (Product Code)

Enter the last product code in a range of product codes for which you want to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a product code. If you want to display orders for a single product, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Product Codes check box.

Customer Filter

Select one of the following options for filtering customers:

  • Customer Code - Filter orders by customer code.

  • Customer Name - Filter orders by customer name.

  • Billing Customer Code - Filter orders by billing customer code.

  • Billing Customer Name - Filter orders by billing customer name.

All Customer Codes/All Customer Names/All Billing Customer Codes/All Billing Customer Names

Select this check box to display order information for all customers or billing customers. This check box is selected by default.

From (Customers)

Enter a customer code/name or billing customer code/name for which to display orders, or click the Lookup button to select a customer code/name or billing customer code/name. If you want to display orders for a range of customer codes/names or billing customer codes/names, enter the first customer code/name or billing customer code/name in the range. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Customer Codes, All Customer Names, All Billing Customer Codes, or All Billing Customer Names check box.

To (Customers)

Enter the last customer code/name or billing customer code/name in a range of customer codes/names or billing customer codes/names for which to display orders. If you want to only display orders for a single customer code/name or billing customer code/name, you can leave this field blank. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Customer Codes, All Customer Names, All Billing Customer Codes, or All Billing Customer Names check box.

List (Customers)

Click this button to display Customer List, which allows you to select specific customers for which to display orders. This button is only enabled if you clear the All Customer Codes check box. If you click this button and select customers, the check box to the right of the button is selected.

Related Customers

Select this check box to display orders for customers related to the selected customer or billing customer. This check box is cleared by default, and is only enabled if the All Customer Codes, All Customer Names, All Billing Customer Codes, or All Billing Customer Names check box is cleared.

Special Orders

Select whether to display open or pending special orders. Pending special orders are special orders for which purchase orders are not yet created.

Direct Ships

Select this check box to display direct ship orders.

Drop Ships

Select this check box to display drop ship orders.

Quotes

Select this check box to display quotes. For more information on quotes, see Quote Orders FAQ.

Include Orders That are

Select whether to display open orders, voided orders, closed orders, EDI hold orders, future orders, pending orders, pending invoice orders, or all orders.

NOTE The pending quantity on an order line is displayed in the Qty To Be Shipped column. However, if the total pending quantity in the Inventory Matrix Inquiry includes reservations and work orders, then the sum of quantity to be shipped will not match the total pending quantity.

Note Additional filters may appear in the My Additional Filters section if filters are set up in Screen Additional Filters Maintenance, or set up and loaded from an additional filters template in Additional Filters Template Maintenance.

This tab may include additional customer filters if filters are set up in Screen Additional Filters Maintenance, or set up and loaded from an additional filters template in Additional Filters Template Maintenance.

Description

Orders

This grid displays order information for the criteria specified on the Select tab.

Double-click a product to display Pick Demand Items, which allows you to view line item pick demand information.

Double-click a product that is tracked by lot or serial number to display Allocations for Line, which allows you to view lot and serial number allocations for a sales order line item.

Kit Products

This grid displays kit products if the selected product is defined as a component in Bill of Material Maintenance. Double-click a product to display Pick Demand Items, which allows you to view line item pick demand information.
