Set up and maintain additional filter templates.
Use Additional Filters Template Maintenance to create, update, or delete system or user-specific additional filters templates. These templates control the filter criteria available on tabs in inquiry and report windows. You can also load a template to make it take effect, or unload a template that you do not want to use. Templates can be set up for specific users or for all users. You can only create, update, and/or delete system templates for all users if your user ID has the proper authorization.
Currently, additional filter templates affect the following windows:
Note You can override a loaded template individually for each window in Screen Additional Filters Maintenance.
To create a new additional filters template:
If you want to create an additional filters template only for yourself, select the User radio button.
Click the New button in the ribbon.
Enter an ID for the additional filters template in the Template field.
Enter a name for the additional filters template in the Name field.
If you want to divide the My Additional Filters section into two columns of filters in inquiry and report windows, click the Lookup button to the right of the Column Divider Color field, and select a color for the line dividing the two columns.
Double-click each filter in the Additional Filters grid that you want to display in the My Additional Filters section of inquiry and report windows.
If you want to change the display order or the column divider location, use the up and down arrow buttons to the right of the My Additional Filters grid to change the order in that grid.
Click the Product tab.
Repeat steps 6 and 7 for product filters.
Click the Customer and Product tab.
Repeat steps 6 and 7 for customer and product filters.
Click the OK button in the ribbon. The additional filters template is created. You can now click the Load Template button when you want to use the template for inquiry and report windows.

This grid displays filter criteria that appear in the My Additional Filters section below the default filters in inquiry and report windows for the additional filters template. You can click the arrow buttons to the left of this grid to move a selected or all filters to/from the Additional Filters grid. You can click the up and down arrow buttons to the right of this grid to rearrange the order of the filters in the My Additional Filters section. NOTE The Column Divider row cannot be moved from this grid. It represents the column break between two columns of filter criteria in the My Additional Filters section. You can move it down to the location where you want a column break, or leave it at the top of the grid if you do not want a column break. EXAMPLE If 10 filters are listed in this grid, you can move the Column Divider row down to between the fifth and sixth rows in the grid to divide filters in the My Additional Filters section of inquiries/reports into two columns of five filters. |
