Purpose

Assign task types to or remove task types from warehouse users.

Overview

Use Warehouse User Task Type Maintenance to assign warehouse task types to wireless warehouse users for the Wireless Warehouse module. This is done by location and by zones within a location. For more information on the Wireless Warehouse module, see Wireless Warehouse Overview.

Note Assigning task types to teams of users instead of to specific users reduces the amount of administrative maintenance. For more information, see Warehouse Team Task Type Maintenance.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Warehouse User Task Type Maintenance window.
Update	Click this button to update task types for the selected user.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the Update button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first user.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous user.
Next	Click this button to display the next user.
Last	Click this button to display the last user.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
User	Enter a warehouse user ID, or click the Lookup button to select a warehouse user ID.
Team	This field displays the warehouse team for the selected user.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Location	Enter a warehouse shipping location prefix or name, or click the Lookup buttons to select a location prefix or name. For more information, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.
Add	Click this button to assign the selected task type(s) to the user.
All Zones	Select this check box to assign task types for all zones. This check box is cleared by default.
Zone	Enter a zone for which to assign task types, or click the Lookup button to select a zone. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Zones check box.
Remove	Click this button to unassign the selected task type(s) for the user.
All Warehouse Areas	Select this check box to assign task types for all warehouse areas. This check box is cleared by default, but is automatically selected and disabled if the All Zones check box is selected.
Warehouse Area	Enter a warehouse area for which to assign task types, or click the Lookup button to select a warehouse area. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Warehouse Areas check box. NOTE Warehouse areas cannot be used to set up restrictions for Wireless Warehouse picking tasks.
All Tasks	Select this check box to assign all task types to the user. This check box is cleared by default.
Task	Enter a task type to assign to the user, or click the Lookup button to select a task type. This field is only enabled if you clear the All Tasks check box.
Receiving Option	Select whether the user receives using directed putaway or to a fixed bin.
Recount Variance Amt	Enter a recount variance amount for this user/location/zone/task. For more information on when this option is used, see Wireless Warehouse Control Maintenance.
Recount Display	This field is disabled in this window.
Recount Variance %	Enter a recount variance percentage for this user/location/zone/task. For more information on when this option is used, see Wireless Warehouse Control Maintenance.
Count Display	This field is disabled in this window.
Recount Required	Select this check box to require a recount for this user/location/zone/task. For more information on when this option is used, see Wireless Warehouse Control Maintenance.
Task Types	This grid displays task types for the selected user. Double-click a task type to remove it from the grid.
