Bookings are the monetary amounts and units of your company's orders, and are calculated with and without including cancellations, deletions, etc. You can compare gross bookings to net bookings to see which customers have the largest discrepancies. To view bookings, use Bookings Summary Management and Product History Inquiry.
To use bookings, create bookings reason codes, bookings groups, and bookings classes in Bookings Reason Code Maintenance, Bookings Group Maintenance, and Bookings Class Maintenance. You can then assign customers to specific bookings groups and products to specific bookings classes.
After you have set up bookings, bookings data is recorded when a user performs the following:
Enters a new order
Enters a new order line
Changes the quantity of an order line
Changes the unit price of an order line
Changes a return type
Changes the required date
Removes an order line
Voids an order
