To use Lifecycle Key Entry, perform one of the following:

Purpose

Enter a workflow to launch.

Overview

Use Lifecycle Key Entry to enter a reference number, such as a product code for which to launch a workflow. You can also enter an optional description of the workflow.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Exit

Click this button to close the Lifecycle Key Entry window.

OK

Click this button to launch the entered workflow.

Note If you accessed Lifecycle Key Entry by clicking the Launch Workflow and Begin Data Entry button in the ribbon in Product Project Maintenance, the Lifecycle Data Entry window appears, and allows you to perform data entry for the workflow.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button

Description

Product Code/Product Style/Category/Subcategory/Product Line Code/Project Code

Enter a reference number for the workflow you want to launch, or click the Lookup button to select a reference number.

Override Team

Enter the default workflow team to which you want to assign the workflow, or click the Lookup button to select a workflow team.

Note Only use this setting if you want to override workflow team rules.

Workflow Description

Enter a description of the workflow you want to launch. This description appears for the workflow in Lifecycle Data Entry Management.
