To use Billback Invoice Create, click the Create Invoice Billbacks button in the ribbon in Free Goods Billback Processing, Incentive Billback Processing, Sample Billback Processing, or Ship and Debit Billback Processing.
Create billback invoices.
Use Billback Invoice Create to create supplier billback invoices for free goods, incentives, samples, and ship and debit records.
To create billback invoices:
Verify the correct posting period, year, and batch are selected for the invoices.
Enter a charge type for the invoices in the Charge Type field.
Verify the correct reference date is selected for the invoices.
Verify the correct sales type is selected for the invoices.
Verify the correct sales location is selected for the invoices.
Verify the correct accounts receivable and charge accounts are entered for the invoices.
Enter a default sales representative for the invoices in the Default Sales Rep field.
Click the Process button in the ribbon to create billback invoices.

Click the Lookup button to select the posting period for created invoices. This field defaults to the current accounts receivable posting period. |

Enter the additional charge type for the billback amounts on created invoices, or click the Lookup button to select an additional charge type. |

This field displays the currently selected batch. To select a different batch, click the Select button in the ribbon. |

Enter the invoice date for created invoices, or click the drop-down arrow to select a date. The date defaults to today. |

Enter the sales type for the order (sometimes used for analytical reporting purposes), or click the Lookup button to select the sales type. This field defaults to the default sales type for your user ID (entered in User Extended Options). For information on setting up sales types, see Sales Type Maintenance. |

Enter a sales location prefix or name for which you want to create invoices, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select a sales location prefix or name. This defaults to the customer's default sales location. For information on sales locations, see Sales Location / Shipping Location. This is only used for a billback invoice if a default sales location is not entered for the customer. |

Enter an accounts receivable account for created billback invoices, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select an account. |

Enter an additional charge account for created billback invoices, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select an account. |

Enter the default sales representative for created billback invoices, or click the Lookup button to select a sales representative. This is only used for a billback invoice if a default sales representative is not entered for the customer. |
