The ribbon is a collection of buttons that allow you to perform actions and display additional windows with related information or that must be used to complete a process.
The ribbon is divided into one or more tabs, which include buttons with related functionality. Each tab is also divided into one or more groups (Operations, Navigation, Product, etc.) that display related buttons.
You can create a custom group called My Shortcuts on the Home tab in the ribbon, which includes the buttons you use most frequently. Setting up the My Shortcuts group with buttons you frequently use can save you time because you will not need to change ribbon tabs to access the buttons. To add a ribbon button to the My Shortcuts group, right-click it, and select Add to My Shortcuts. To remove a button from the My Shortcuts group, right-click it, and select Remove. To change the order of a button in the My Shortcuts group, right-click a button, and select Move Right or Move Left.
Note Changes to the My Shortcuts group are only for your user ID and only for the currently displayed window.
For information on common ribbon buttons, see Ribbon Standard Buttons. For specific Help on a ribbon button, refer to the Help for the specific window.
