Purpose

Set up and maintain printers.

Overview

Use Label Printer Control Maintenance to set up label and non-label printers. This allows an alternate printer to be selected while printing UCC 128 labels in Pick Demand Confirm (in Wireless Warehouse, as well), Shipping Label Print, and Purchase Order Receipt. Note If label printer records are set up and a user or zone does not have a specific label printer defined, a new window appears during the label printing process that allows a user to select a specific label printer.

Ribbon Home Tab Buttons

Button	Description
Exit	Click this button to close the Label Printer Control Maintenance window.
New	Click this button to create a new printer ID.
Update	Click this button to update the selected printer ID.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected printer ID.
OK	Click this button to accept an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel an action. This button is only available after you click the New, Update, or Delete button in the ribbon.
First	Click this button to display the first printer ID.
Prev	Click this button to display the previous printer ID.
Next	Click this button to display the next printer ID.
Last	Click this button to display the last printer ID.

Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Printer ID	Enter a printer ID, or click the Lookup button to select a printer ID.

Main Tab Fields and Buttons

Field or Button	Description
Printer Name	Click the Lookup button to select a printer.
Printer Description	Enter a description of the printer.
Location	Enter a location prefix or name for the shipping location of the printer, or click one of the Lookup buttons to select a location prefix or name. For more information, see Sales Location / Shipping Location.
Zone	Enter a zone for the printer, or click the Lookup button to select a zone.
Printer Type	Select one of the following printer types: Label - This is a printer used for printing labels. Other - This is a printer used for printing documents other than labels, such as packing slips and bills of lading.
