To use Lifecycle Task Completion, perform one of the following:
Double-click an alert for an assigned task in the Main Menu window.
In Lifecycle Task Management, double-click a task for which you want to perform data entry, or that you want to mark complete.
In Lifecycle Task Management, double-click a cell in the Value column in the Tasks grid for a grid task. You must view task detail, and click the Update button in the ribbon before you can double-click the cell.
Enter data for a task.
Mark a task complete.
Use Lifecycle Task Completion to perform data entry for a selected task and to mark a task as completed.

Click this button to close the Lifecycle Task Completion window without saving any of the data you have entered. |
Save |
Click this button to close the Lifecycle Task Completion window and save the data you enter in it. |
Complete Task |
Click this button to close the Lifecycle Task Completion window, save the data you enter in it, and mark the tasks for which data was entered as completed. This button is only available if one or more displayed tasks is not completed. |
Auto Generate UPC/GTIN |
Click this button to generate UPC's and GTIN's for a product project workflow for a product. This button is only available for workflows for the Product Project workflow type and the Product workflow level. Note Options for UPC and GTIN generation are set up in Warehouse Management Control Maintenance. This button is disabled if both the Automatic UPC Generation and Automatic GTIN Generation check boxes are cleared in Warehouse Management Control Maintenance. When you click this button, the Question dialog box appears, and asks you to confirm that you want to generate UPC's and GTIN's. Click the Yes button to generate UPC's and GTIN's. |
Note Other ribbon buttons may also be available if the buttons were set up in Ribbon Link Maintenance.

Click this button for a task to display Lifecycle Audit Trail Inquiry, which allows you to view the audit trail of changes for the task. |
The tabs and fields in this window vary based on the selected task. Enter the data that is appropriate for the task.
For grid tasks, the following buttons are available:
Add - Click this button to add a new row to the grid.
Copy - Click this button to copy the selected row in the grid.
Copy Prior - Click this button to display Copy Grid Data, which allows you to copy data to the grid from a previous workflow for the same grid task and reference number (such as a previous workflow for the same product).
Remove - Click this button to remove the selected row in the grid.
